In latest news from Uttarakhand, a youth from Dehradun died when the car he was travelling in skidded off the Gangotri National Highway near Singoti and plunged into a gorge.
Sharing details of the accident, the Dunda police station in-charge Taslim Ariff said that on receiving the news, police and SDRF team rushed to the accident spot. But given the steepness of the cliff, the rescue operation took a longer time than usual. The deceased was identified as Park Road (Dehradun) resident Mamlesh (42).The body was pulled up and sent for autopsy.
