The Bank of India, Dehradun zone, Shimla Bypass Road, will be organising Samjhauta Day on July 26 to settle the NPA loan accounts of borrowers under One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme at all its branches across the zone. The day is specially designed for the NPA borrowers who could not repay their loan in time due to distress in business/medical condition of the borrower or any other genuine reason. Officials said that the bank has special OTS schemes to settle small value accounts and mid-size accounts through which special and good discounts are offered to the borrowers whose accounts are NPA. The bank has appealed to all the borrowers whose accounts are NPA, to come forward to avail this opportunity by settling NPA loan accounts on Samjhauta Day.
