Noted industrialist and social worker Shiv Kumar Agrawal participated in tree plantation in the old district hospital compound to mark the foundation day of Rudrapur Rising Foundation. About 150 saplings were planted on the occasion. The foundation along with various social organisations planted different fruit and shade trees. Agrawal said that various trees are planted every year during the monsoon at all his factories in Uttarakhand. He exhorted the public to plant trees to make the earth greener and check pollution. He also appreciated the Rising Foundation for its work. Members of various social organisations and groups, who also participated in the tree plantation were also felicitated by the event organisers on the occasion.
