Marking the Independence Day, Bank of India, Dehradun zone, Shimla Bypass Road will organise Samjhauta Day ‘Azadi Rin Se’ on August 16 and 17. Senior officers of the bank said on Monday that this is an opportunity for the NPA borrowers, who could not repay their loan in time due to distress in business/medical condition or any other genuine reason, to settle the matter under one time settlement (OTS) and it would be organised at all its branches/zones and FGMOs across the country.
The BoI officers further said that special discounts are offered to the NPA borrowers with small value and mid-size accounts, adding that such borrowers should avail this opportunity to free themselves from the pressure of unpaid loans.
