Free medical camp held in Ramnagar

In latest news from Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand Manav Sewa Samiti -registered in Delhi- organised a one- day free medical camp in the Shiv Shakti Mandir premises in Ramnagar in collaboration with the RPG Life Sciences Mumbai.
Over 350 general patients took advantage of the free medical treatment offered at the camp while more than 150 eye patients were tested and spectacles were distributed among them free of cost. On this occasion, the president of the organisation and former central provident fund commissioner V N Sharma stressed on lifestyle change to combat the present health challenges. He further said that his organisation has been continuously hosting free health camps in the remote rural areas of the State for the past 25 years.
The Cancer specialist of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh and health advisor of the organisation Dr Deepak Sundariyal spoke of the spread of Cancer, particularly among women.
Led by the director of Chamunda Hospital, Kashipur Dr Yashpal Singh Rawat, a team of nine medical specialists and paramedical staff conducted the tests at the camp.
