4,000 women offered job in Tata Group

The State government has claimed that 4,000 women in Uttarakhand have been offered job opportunities by Tata Group. State Planning deparmtne official Sumanta Sharma stated this on Monday after receiving a letter from the chief human resource officer of Tata Group, Ranjan Bandopadhyay. Sharma emphasised the State government’s commitment to providing employment to the youth in both government and non-government sectors. Tata Group has announced job vacancies for 4,000 women candidates from Uttarakhand in its Karnataka plant under the NPS and NATS programmes. In view of this, Sharma further said that Tata Electronics Private Limited has released a notification for the recruitment of 4,000 female candidates from Uttarakhand, with the recruitment drive taking place for Tata’s plants in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and Kolar, Karnataka. The eligibility criteria for MPS include passing class X or XII, while for NATS, candidates must have completed class X or possess an ITI diploma. The selection process will include a knowledge test, bid test and psycho diagnostic test. Following selection, candidates will be appointed as shop floor technicians, receiving a fixed salary along with accommodation, food, transportation and other facilities as per company policy.
The official added that the State government, under the leadership of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, is dedicated to facilitating employment opportunities for the youth, not only in government departments but also in the private and self-employment sectors, both within the country and abroad.
