The State tourism and culture minister Satpal Maharaj held a meeting with officials of various departments Wednesday regarding the preparations for the state fair ‘Jagda Parv’ at Mahasu Devta Temple located at Hanol, the main pilgrimage site of Jaunsar Bhabar and gave necessary directions.
He said lakhs of devotees from Uttarakhand and other States come and offer puja at the temple. He further said that the State tourism department is set to operate Ganga Yamuna Express from Bhopal to Hanol via Rishikesh, Dehradun, Yamunotri and Kharsali under which those on board would be taken to visit all these religious places.
