CM celebrates birthday with visually impaired students

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated his birthday in a unique manner on Monday by spending time with the visually impaired students. He visited the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD) in the morning and celebrated his birthday by cake cutting and distributing sweets. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that he feels happy whenever he meets the students of the NIEPVD. Wishing for the bright future of the students, Dhami expressed confidence that they will succeed in whichever field they choose in life. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for the overall development of the Divyang students. The CM added that the word Divyang is made prevalent by PM Modi. He said that the State is facing the challenge posed by the natural disasters at many places and requested the people and his supporters to visit the disaster affected areas and help the people.
He said that PM Modi has professed that the third decade of the 21st century will be of Uttarakhand and the State government is striving hard to fulfil this dream of the PM. The students of the model school of the institute presented a souvenir made by them to the CM on his birthday.
The CM inaugurated a football tournament of the institute on the occasion.
Cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi, vice chairperson of the State disaster management committee Vinay Rohilla, Mahanagar president Sidharth Agarwal, principal of the institute Amit Sharma, BJP leaders PK Agarwal, Laxmi Agarwal and others were present on the occasion.
