The management of the UJVN Limited has claimed that the corporation has produced record power in the month of September. The UJVNL managing director Sandeep Singhal informed that the corporation generated 721.188 milion units (MU) of electricity in September 2024 which is the highest ever production for the month in the history of the corporation. Earlier the highest power generation in the month of September was last year when 706.08 MU of electricity was generated. Singhal said that due to the better maintenance and work plan the availability of the machines in September 2024 was 90 per cent which helped in maximising generation.
He further informed that the Chibro, Khodri, Dhalipur, Kulhal, Tiloth, Dharasu, Cheela, Vyasi and Gilogi units generated more electricity than the target. Singhal said that the UJVN Limited has generated 3,425.885 MU of electricity in this year so far which is 151.586 MU more than the power generated in the same period last year. The MD expressed happiness at record power generation and attributed this to the work culture of the corporation and hard work of the employees.
