In latest news from Doon, the director general of Information Banshidhar Tiwari paid tribute to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and the former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of their birth anniversaries by offering floral tributes to their portraits at the Directorate of Information.
He stressed on all following the path of non-violence as shown by Mahatma Gandhi in lives and dedicating themselves to working towards peace, prosperity and harmony. Referring to Lal Bahadur Shastri, he said that the former Prime Minister embodied value-based life.
Among others present on this occasion were the additional director Ashish Kumar Tripathi and deputy director Manoj Kumar Srivastava.
