3-day inter-school badminton competition concludes

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the three-day inter-school badminton competition organised by the District Sports Association concluded. Pravar Verma of All Saints’ College and Dheeraj Goswami of Long View Public School presented their skills in the sub-junior category of the competition. Verma won in the seesaw final.
While the international runner Harish Tiwari was the chief guest veteran players Sudarshan Lal Shah and Chandra Lal Shah were the special guests.
In the junior boys’ category, Arnav Dasila of Sainik School Ghorakhal defeated Hridayansh Titiyal of St Joseph College to win the final match whereas in the senior boys’ category, Vansh Nautiyal of Sainik School Ghorakhal defeated Rudra Pratap of Parvati Prema Jagati to win the final match.
In Junior Doubles, the pair of Arnav and Shri Ram of Ghorakhal Sainik School won the final by defeating Hridayansh and Ahil of St. Joseph. In Senior Doubles, the pair of Harshit and Rudra Pratap of Parvati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar won the final by defeating the pair of Vansh Nautiyal and Manra of Sainik School Ghorakhal. In Sub Junior Girls, Somaya Joshi of Hermann Minor School won the final by defeating Saanvi Sharma of Parwati Prema Jagati while in Junior Girls, Lavanya Rawat of Mohan Lal Sah Bal Vidya Mandir won the final by defeating Jayti Bisht of All Saints. In Junior Girls Doubles, the pair of Jayti Bisht and Vibhu Shah of All Saints won the final by defeating Anjali and Vaishnavi of GGIC while in Senior Girls Doubles, the pair of Shridhi and Lavanya won the final by defeating the pair of Disha Katiyar and Himani Karki of Bhartiya Shahid Sainik Vidyhylaya.
