The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana has said that in view of the upcoming by- election in Kedarnath, the BJP government of the State has come out of its slumber. He said that the election fear has forced the government and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to lay the foundation stone of schemes worth hundreds of crores of rupees in Kedarnath.
Dhasmana claimed that the people of Kedarnath have understood the design of the BJP and they will ensure defeat of the BJP candidate in Kedarnath.
The Congress leader said that CM Dhami’ statement in Agastyamuni that the politics of lies will fail in Kedarnath is correct. “Yes the politics of lies failed to cut ice in Badrinath and Manglaur and a similar fate awaits the ruling BJP in Kedarnath as well,’’ he said.
Dhasmana said that the people of Kedarnath have understood that the designs of BJP as it had taken no cognizance of the problems of people during the disaster and during the Joshimath land subsidence. He said that when the disaster struck Kedarnath on July 31, the CM and other ministers were busy campaigning in other States. The people have also not forgotten the emotive issues of attempted construction of Kedarnath Dham in New Delhi and theft of 227 kg of gold from Kedarnath.
