University of Patanjali receives A+ grade from NAAC

The University of Patanjali has received A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Swami Ramdev said that the aim of the university is to integrate ancient Vedic knowledge and modern science while enabling a good lifestyle of the youth and facilitate use of science and spirituality to conserve and nurture the ancient knowledge, traditions and culture of India.
Speaking on the occasion, the university’s vice chancellor Acharya Balkrishna said that the university has been established for a special aim, considering which all those associated with it should pursue the standards expected. Bharatiya Shiksha Board executive chairman NP Singh said that according to global standards in higher education, one aims to develop personalities of youth in a way which produces responsible and productive citizens which benefits the nation and the world. The University of Patanjali is an ideal institution for developing model personalities according to global standards, he averred.
Central Sanskrit University vice chancellor Srinivas Varakhedi said that though the University of Patanjali is capable of receiving A++ grade from NAAC, it received A+ grade probably as the first evaluation generally results in comparatively limited grading.
