Friday, 25 October 2024 | PNS I HARIDWAR
The vice- president of the Uttarakhand State unit of Aam Aadmi Party Naresh Sharma resigned from the party. While announcing his decision at a media conference in Haridwar on Friday, he said that he had become totally disillusioned by the party’s deviation from its avowed ideology. He had unsuccessfully contested from the Haridwar (Rural) seat in the last Assembly election on AAP ticket. About two years ago, he had joined the party after quitting BJP. He, however, parried questions whether he would return to the BJP.
He criticised the AAP national convenor Arvind Khejriwal on the widening gulf between what he professed and what he was doing.
