Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will secure a resounding victory in the upcoming Kedarnath by-elections. He stated this during a workshop of BJP Sangathan Parv held in Dehradun on Sunday. The event was also attended by the BJP national general secretary and Uttarakhand State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, among other senior leaders. The workshop, themed around strengthening the party’s foundation, was aimed at selecting the best organisational members and discussing strategies to increase primary membership.
During the event, Gautam emphasised the significance of a robust organisational structure in fostering a prosperous state. He referred to party workers as the Hanuman of the party, acknowledging their critical role in historical decisions like the construction of the Ram Temple, the abrogation of Article 370, and the repeal of the triple talaq law. He said that the party attained the remarkable achievement of reaching 12 crore members in just 1.5 months, a feat that previously took six months to accomplish. Dhami also congratulated the party workers for their efforts in achieving membership goals and highlighted the progress made in the State’s development under the double engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that over 20 lakh new members are now part of the BJP family and called for collective action to realise the dream of a developed state.
