In protest against the threat allegedly made by the activist-politician Bobby Panwar and his associates to the Power secretary Meenakshi Sundaram at the latter’s office in the State Secretariat on Wednesday, the IAS Association called half day work boycott and served memorandum to the chief minister and the chief secretary. The association demanded stern action against Panwar and his associates. Also, it demanded adequate security for the IAS officers to stop recurrence of such incidents. The association further warned that it would be forced to go for full day’s work boycott if their demands remain unmet.
