Uttarakhand Jal Vidyuit Nigam Limited (UJVNL) kept the State Foundation Day celebration on low key in line with the instructions of the State government in view of the recent Almora accident in which 36 people were killed. Informing this on Friday, the managing director UJVNL Sandeep Singhal said that they have distributed fruits and other food items to the elderly people, destitute women and children living at the Mahila Ashram, Laxman Chowk, Dehradun. Along with this, a cleanliness drive was carried out in the corporation premises. Among the senior UJVNL officers present on the occasion were the director Projects S C Baluni and director Operations Vinay Mishra aside from the MD.
