In latest news from Dehradun, the former chief minister and Congress veteran Harish Rawat held an hour-long silent protest against the police having externed Congress leader Madhav Agarwal and his father from Dehradun district at his residence here on Monday. He tore into the BJP government in the State, saying it has unleashed police to stop politicians from expressing their political views. Several Congress leaders and activists from Rishikesh staged the silent sit-in with the leader.
