Appeals people to ensure victory of BJP candidate for development of Kedarnath

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the government will soon constitute Char Dham Yatra Pradhikaran for better management of the Yatra. He was addressing a public meeting at Guptkashi in support of BJP candidate for Kedarnath Assembly by-election Asha Nautiyal on Monday. Dhami also took out a road show riding a bike.
He said that all the temples of the Kedarnath area will be developed. Dhami accepted that some mistakes occurred during the operation of Yatra this year in the initial stage but added that the government is prepared to rectify all the shortcomings.
In his address, the CM attacked the Congress party for supporting infiltrators and accusing it of promoting and abetting land, love and spit Jihad in Uttarakhand. The CM said that the Congress party engaged in politics of appeasement during its rule in the State due to which infiltrators entered the State in large numbers which changed the demography. He said that the BJP government will not allow any of the infiltrators to succeed in their nefarious intentions they have towards our daughters and sisters. Dhami said that the BJP government has acted against the land, love and spit Jihad in Uttarakhand and we will not allow anyone to temper with the faith and aspirations of the State.
He said the government has brought the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State and implemented a strict anti-copying law due which more than 19,000 youngsters have got government jobs in the last three years. The CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an ardent follower of Baba Kedar and he is the first PM to have visited Kedarnath shrine seven times. He also accused the Congress party of spreading lies and dividing the people.
Dhami said that the BJP has always given respect to women and has provided 30 per cent reservation to women of the State in government jobs. The BJP government is also promoting the Lakhpati Didi scheme in the State and the party has given tickets to late Shaila Rani Rawat and Asha Nautiyal from the constituency which shows the respect the party has for the women, he said. The CM appealed to people to ensure victory of BJP candidate Nautiyal from Kedarnath.
Addressing the meeting, Nautiyal said the CM has fulfilled his promise of acting as the MLA of the constituency by announcing and releasing GOs of development projects worth Rs 750 crores. She requested the CM to provide licenses to locals for setting up tents in the Yatra route for three years.
Former CM Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, cabinet ministers Ganesh Joshi, Saurabh Bahuguna, MLAs Bharat Chaudhary, Dilip Rawat, Kuldeep Rawat, Aishwarya Rawat and others attended the meeting.
