The State government has appointed 11 specialist doctors in the government medical college Haldwani and the State cancer institute Haldwani. These appointments were made on the recommendation of the interview committee headed by the vice chancellor of the HNB medical education university.
The committee had conducted a walk-in interview for these posts and the appointments were made on contractual basis. The new appointments include one professor, one associate professor and nine assistant professors.
