The religious preacher from Bageshwar Dham Dhirendra Shastri sustained minor injury on his nose while he was leading the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra at Mauranipur under Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. According to him, someone threw a mobile phone at him which hit him on his nose. Unperturbed by the incident, he carried on with the rally and said that the Hindu society might perish if the caste cleavage was not done away with. Calling casteism and its fallout untouchability as the greatest curse of the Hindu society, he said that it could not progress unless and until it was freed from the caste-based discrimination and animosity.
