In latest news from Uttarakhand, the 2011 cadre IAS Nitin Bhadoria has been appointed the new district magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar. He is replacing Udai Raj Singh who is retiring on Saturday. Earlier, Singh was given a three-month extension. Born in Kanpur, Bhadoria was previously the district magistrate of Almora. His wife Swati S Bhadoria is also an IAS officer.
