CM launches promo/poster of first Jaunsari feature film ‘Mera Gaon Ki Bat’

In latest news from Doon, while launching the poster and promo of the first Jaunsari feature film ‘Mera Gaon Ki Bat’, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that his government had been supporting all initiatives financially and by other means to make films on regional languages. “These films prove instrumental in preserving and propagating the State’s culture, customs and heritage,” he added. He further said that this film is specially important because it is the first Jaunsari feature film made since Uttarakhand had come up as a State. Also, he dwelt on the occasion the new film policy rolled out by his government to promote the State’s culture and tourism potential through films made on regional languages.
The Cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi along with a host of senior officers was present on the occasion. While Anuj Joshi is the director K S Chauhan is the presenter of the film.
