In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Kumaon commissioner Deepak Rawat who is also the secretary to the chief minister made an on-the -ground inspection of the Peyjal and sewer line laying works being carried out in Haldwani with the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank. He told those involved in the work that according to the CM’s directive, all the roads dug during the laying of the sewer lines must be repaired soon and quality of work must be maintained strictly all through. The areas where he inspected the works included Shani Bazar, Nilam Colony, Bhagwanpur and Panchakki.
