The 62nd foundation day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC in Dehradun on Friday. The chief guests of the programme were the retired teachers from the school, Sumanlata and Prabha Singh. The principal, Sushil Kumar Dhiman, in his address, highlighted the sequential development and achievements of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan since its establishment and lauded its role in the field of education. The students took the KV foundation day pledge and those of BalVatika (pre-primary section) presented a dance performance. Afterward, the chief guests along with the school’s headmistress Priyanka awarded prizes to students who secured second and third positions in co-curricular activities during the previous academic session 2023-24.
