The long-awaited Pagal Gymkhana programme was held after many years and appreciated by those present. It was organised by Lake City Welfare Club at DSA ground in the city in association with Nainital Bank and Century Pulp and Paper Mills, Lalkuan. During the event, many entertaining competitions like spoon race, needle thread race, scooty race, husband-wife race, tune recognition race, musical chair race and sack race were organised. Along with this, some children and adults also attracted people’s attention by acting as mad people. The, Lalkuan MLA Mohan Singh Bisht and Nainital MLA Sarita Arya who were present lauded its revival. They said that such events provide people opportunities to display their talent. Besides, these are great sources of entertainment for the people, they added. The president of Lake City Welfare Club Jyoti Dhaudiyal said that the event would continue to be organised. Many eminent people of the city, including Tussi Shah, Sarita Tripathi and Himanshu Pandey, were present.
