Gang Dhara lecture series to begin on Dec 21 in Dehradun

The Devbhoomi Vikas Sansthan is set to launch its inaugural lecture series, ‘Gang Dhara: Ever-flowing Stream of Ideas’, on December 21st at Dr Nityanand Auditorium in Doon University. The event will be inaugurated by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. It will host intellectuals, researchers, scientists and educationists from various Higher Education Institutions.
The series aims to foster dialogue among experts and scholars to develop actionable solutions for societal and economic challenges. The patron of Devbhoomi Vikas Sansthan and Member of Parliament from Haridwar Trivendra Singh Rawat emphasised the initiative’s goal of bringing thoughtful perspectives together to address pressing issues. He stated, “This lecture series symbolises the continuous flow of ideas, much like the Ganga from Gangotri, ensuring the enrichment of our civilisation and culture.”
The inaugural session will feature Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, who will speak on eternal flow of Indian culture. The closing session on December 22 will be graced by the governors of Uttarakhand and Kerala, lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh and Arif Mohammad Khan, respectively, who will address the theme ‘Culture, Nature and Progress: A Way Forward for Viksit Bharat@2047’.
