NABARD assesses loan potential of Rs 12931 cr for priority sector for Doon

The quarterly meeting of the district advisory committee / district review committee of Dehradun district was organised at the district collectorate office to discuss the achievements of the annual loan scheme of the district here on Thursday. It was presided over by the additional district magistrate Krishna Kumar Mishra. The credit flow in the priority sector and targets of schemes sponsored by Centre and the State government were also reviewed. Mishra asked all the banks to settle pending applications soon and to disburse loans as soon as possible in those schemes in which loans have been sanctioned.
In the meeting, NABARD also released its Potential Loan Plan 2025-26 for Dehradun district. For 2025-26, NABARD released a loan potential of Rs 12931 crore in the priority sector for the district. An assessment was made in which the highest loan potential was assessed in MSME and agriculture.
