PNS/ RISHIKESH
A man climbed atop a mobile tower near a petrol pump in Shyampur area along the Haridwar-Rishikesh highway with a bottle of petrol on Friday, insisting that the shop he used to run inside the petrol pump premises be allowed to reopen and remained there for about two and half hours on Friday. Upon receiving information, police along with a fire department team rushed to the spot. Police said that the man identified as Anup Thapliyal was frustrated with his tyre inflating shop remaining closed since the petrol pump was sold.
