While the campaigning for the January 23 Urban Local Body polls has been gaining steam, the BJP has released its manifesto at the party’s State headquarters. Releasing it, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that his government had taken a slew of important steps which have boosted Uttarakhand’s image as progressive State. Stating that his State is the first in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code, he mentioned that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate the National Games 2025 on January 28.

He urged the people to vote overwhelmingly for the BJP candidates in the civic body elections to change the double engine government into a triple engine government to facilitate even a swifter development.
