PNS | NAINITAL

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the State government is committed to good governance and ensuring peace and prosperity in the State. He was addressing a public meeting at Mallital in Nainital on Thursday.

He said that a range of development works retaken by the State government prove that the BJP is fulfilling what it had promised to the people of the State.

Launching an attack on the Congress party, the CM said that it has always encouraged corrupt culture in the State. The BJP on the other hand is engaging in work culture and development politics. Accusing the Congress of playing appeasement politics, the CM said that the party supports those who want to reinstate article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the people of the State have the choice of supporting BJP which encourages good governance and development and corrupt Congress in the elections of the urban local bodies.

The CM said that the people also know that supporting independents and Congress candidates is akin to wasting one’s vote.

Dhami appealed the people to support BJP candidates for giving a new impetus to the developmental activities in the State.

Braving rain and cold weather, a large number of people attended the public meeting of the CM. In the meeting, he appealed the people to vote for BJP candidates Prakash Arya in Bhowali,  Jeevanti Bhatt in Nainital and Kamla Arya in Bhimtal municipal councils.

Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt, MLA Sarita Arya, former MP Balraj Pasi and others were present on the occasion.

The CM also took out a road show and addressed public meeting in support of party’s mayoral candidate Gajraj Bisht in Haldwani on the day.
