CM Dhami undertakes intensive campaign for ULB polls

 Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has plunged himself headlong in the campaign for the upcoming elections of the urban local bodies in the State. On Friday the CM held road shows and addressed public meetings in Tehri, Kotdwar, Haridwar and Dehradun in support of BJP candidates. 

 Addressing a public meeting in Tehri in the support of BJP candidate for the post of chairperson of the municipal council, Masta Singh Negi, the CM said that the State government is working to promote adventure tourism in Tehri and surrounding areas.  Dhami also addressed a well-attended public meeting in Kotdwar in support of Mayoral candidate of the party Shailendra Singh Rawat. Here the CM said that the BJP government fulfils whatever it promises.

Dhami said that he has laid the foundation stone of Satpuli lake and expressed confidence that the lake will be inaugurated by him as well. Launching an attack on the Congress party, the CM said that the leaders of Congress give priority to personal interests over national interests. He said that the BJP government of the State is working untiringly for the development of the State. Raising the issue of abrogation of article 370 in a public meeting in Haridwar later in the day, the CM said that the Congress supports those who want that the article 370 is reinstated in Jammu and Kashmir. 

The CM exhorted the people to vote for the BJP candidates in the ULB polls. He said the victory of BJP in ULB elections will set up a triple engine government in the State and the engine of development will chug forward with a speed which is three times more than the current one.
