The State Sports minister Rekha Arya expressed satisfaction over each of the sportspersons coming to the State for participating in the National Games being contacted on telephone and informed about facilities made for their accommodation, transport and dining. While taking stock of the final phase of preparations for the mega sports event via video conferencing with the sports officials of the districts, she said that each of the players coming from other States should be made to feel that they were being individually taken care of by the Uttarakhand government. She further said that about 7000 players have been contacted so far. Further, she assured that every player would be given option to choose their favourite food.
