In latest news from Dehradun, a youth was electrocuted after coming into contact with a 33 KV high tension wire when he was pulling down a political party’s banner. The accident occurred at Durga Chowk in Bhaniyawala in Dehradun around 10 AM on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Manoj Panwar (26), resident of Athurwala, Dehradun. Eye witnesses said that they had heard an explosion once Manoj touched the wire and he fell down from the second floor. The locals rushed him to the community health centre in Doiwala where he was declared dead.
