Amrita Hospital to launch advanced OPD for serious ailments in Doon

A Faridabad-based healthcare institution, Amrita Hospital announced the launch of its advanced liver and pancreatic diseases, cancers and transplant outpatient department (OPD) at Arogyadham Super Speciality Hospital, 6 New Road, near Doon Hospital, Dehradun. The hospital sources said that to be led by the head of Solid Organ Transplantation and HPB Surgery at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, Dr Shaleen Agarwal, the OPD would provide specialised medical consultation for complex liver and pancreatic conditions, cancers and organ transplants, adding that the inaugural OPD would take place on January 25, from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM.

Speaking of the upcoming launch, Dr Agarwal said that it would prove a significant step toward addressing the rising prevalence of liver and pancreatic diseases in Uttarakhand, adding that it would provide the people of Dehradun access to cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, reducing the need to travel long distances for quality medical care.
