Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is on an extensive election campaign in Delhi. On Friday, he addressed public meetings and held road shows in support of BJP candidates at Motinagar, Shalimar Bagh, Kali Badi Marg (New Delhi) and Sadik Nagar.

Addressing a public meeting at Motinagar in support of BJP candidate Harish Khurana, the CM said that the AAP came to power in Delhi on the basis of false promises and lies. He said that while all other States are providing drinking water to the people under the ‘ Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of Delhi  are deprived of the wonderful scheme. He said that 40 per cent of the population of Delhi is forced to purchase water from tankers. Similarly, he said that the people of Delhi are deprived of the benefit of the Ayushman Yojana due to the narrow minded approach of the AAP.

Continuing the diatribe on AAP, Dhami said that the party which failed to clean Yamuna in last 11 years is now demanding five more years from the people of Delhi to clean it.

“ The people should ask Kejriwal and his party how Yamuna, which is clean and pollution free in Uttarakhand, becomes so polluted on entering Delhi that its water is not even fit for irrigation purposes,’’ he said.

Dhami said that clinics, medicine, street lights, bus purchase, school and liquor scams occurred during the Kejriwal government. He said that Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia are out on bail.

Dhami expressed confidence that the people of Delhi will throw the AAP out of power in the upcoming Assembly election.
