Lauding the Union budget presented by the Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament as a big gift for the middle class, the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in a post on X that the people are thanking the Centre for the announcement of providing tax relief to the income of up to Rs 12 lakh. He further said that the country has been moving forward under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Nanrendra Modi. This decision would not just boost the pace of economic development but also bring about a positive change in the life of the common people, he wrote.
