The UPES has collaborated with FutureLearn to expand access to world-class online education for its students. The university’s vice chancellor Ram Sharma said this while addressing the media here on Saturday. FutureLearn is a global online learning platform committed to providing high-quality education from top universities and industry experts. This collaboration aims to transform learning opportunities for UPES students, employees and their families by granting access to FutureLearn’s comprehensive educational solutions. FutureLearn offers innovative and flexible educational programmes tailored to a wide range of learning needs. Through this partnership, the UPES community will have the opportunity to engage with thousands of expert-led courses, micro-credentials, online degrees, expert tracks and corporate training solutions.
Sharma said, “We are committed at UPES to nurturing a culture of lifelong learning and empowering our community with the best educational resources available. Our partnership with FutureLearn aligns with our vision to provide flexible, high-quality learning opportunities that cater to the diverse aspirations of our students, faculty and their families.” He further said that FutureLearn offers courses from renowned global institutions such as Cambridge, King’s College and University College London, among others. This will provide flexible and accessible learning options for acquiring new skills, earning accredited certifications and more, he added.
