In response to the large crowds and for the convenience of the audience during the 38th National Games at the Maharana Pratap Sports College in Dehradun, the State government has launched a free electric auto rickshaw service within the sports college complex. The officials said that the main goal of this initiative is to provide better and more convenient transportation for the spectators, allowing them to easily travel between different game venues. Visitors can park their vehicles in designated parking areas and then avail of the free e-auto service. They said that this service is especially beneficial for the elderly, children and differently-abled individuals, as it eliminates the need for them to walk long distances. According to them, the initiative is improving the overall experience of the spectators, making it easier for them to attend the games. This effort is proving helpful not only for the athletes and sports enthusiasts but also for everyone involved in organising the event. The officials further claimed that the government’s step is contributing to the success of the 38th National Games and it is expected that such initiatives will serve as an inspiration for future large-scale events. All spectators are encouraged to make the most of this service and enjoy the games, they added.
