In latest news from Uttarakhand, the district magistrate, Tehri Mayur Dixit heard out the people’s complaints at the Janta Milan programme held here on Monday. Most of the complaints lodged on this occasion related to rehabilitation and several departments, including Public Works Department and Child Welfare Department.

Pratapnagar complained about illegal occupation of his land by someone else on which the DM directed SDM Pratapnagar to take necessary action and inform him. Another villager from Ghera requested the DM to ensure that an embankment is built to protect his house from being damaged due to the construction of a motor road. The DM directed action on this matter, too.
On this occasion, DM reviewed the pending complaints registered in CM Helpline and directed the officials concerned to resolve these expeditiously.
