The Nainital Zoo is all set to become the first zoo in Uttarakhand where the visitors will get to see majestic white tiger. A white tiger along with some birds will be brought to the Nainital Zoo from Delhi Zoo soon as part of the animal transfer programme, said the local forest ranger Pramod Tiwari. The zoo officials in Nainital said that they have made all arrangements to welcome the white tiger from Delhi. Official formalities have all but been completed and once the permission is obtained from the Delhi Zoo management the animals will be parts of the zoo in Nainital.
Tiwari further said that the request for the transfer of white tiger to Nainital Zoo from Delhi Zoo had been sent in December last year.
