Govt allots land for KU campus at Patwadangar, Nainital

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the State government approved a proposal to allot 26.4 acres of land for Kumaun University in Patwadangar near Nainital for establishing a new campus of the university. The vice- chancellor Prof Diwan Singh Rawat said they were grateful to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the allotment of the land.
“We have a plan to establish several centres, including Sustainable Urban Development Centre, Business Development and Entrepreneurship Centre, Non-Conventional Energy Centre, Disaster Management Centre, Advanced Computing Centre, Himalayan Excellence Centre, Medicinal Plants and Healthy Lifestyle Centre, Faculty of Law and Education, Faculty of Biomedical Science and Nano Technology and Centralised Instrumentation Facility Centre in Patwadangar,” he added.
