Minister asks officers to expedite process of BRP, CRP appointments

Taking a stern note of the delay in the appointment on 670 posts of Block Resource Person (BRP) and Cluster Resource Person (CRP), Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat directed the officers of the department to expedite the process of appointments.
Expressing his annoyance at the delay, the minister asked the officers to remove the obstacles in the process of appointments in the department. He said that the officers of the department should coordinate with the skill development department for removing the practical problems in the Prayag portal of the department.
On the orders of the minister the Education department had started the process of appointment of 285 posts of BRP and 670 posts of CRP. Rawat said that in the recent review meeting of the department held at the State secretariat, detailed discussion on the delay in the recruitment process of BRP and CRP was held. He said that these recruitments will be done through the Prayag portal of the department. Rawat said that to remove problems being faced by the applicants the education department will prepare a proposal of amendment in the GO of the skill development department and table it in the next meeting of the State cabinet. He said that all the glitches in the way of outsource recruitments in the department will be removed.
Rawat said that thousands of youngsters have registered in the Prayag portal for BRP and CRP. He claimed that the appointment will be given to the selected candidates on these posts within a month after the removal of the discrepancies in the Prayag portal. All the appointments will be made on merit.
He said that the appointment of the BRP and CRP will give a boost to the monitoring activities in the schools of the State. Rawat said that new appointments will also relieve hundreds of teachers for their schools which will improve the academic and other activities in the schools of the State.
He added that the discrepancies in the Prayag portal has also delayed the process of appointments on 2,500 posts of class IV employees in the education department.
