GBPUAT meets representatives from institutions from Russia & Ireland

In latest news from Uttarakhand, an Interaction meeting was held with the representatives of St Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, Russia and University College, Dublin, Ireland with the vice-chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar, Manmohan Singh Chauhan in the chair. The chairman, International Division from St Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, Russia Lyutik Ekaterina along with 10 research students and the director of University College Dublin (UCD) Ireland Prof Eileen Gibney attended the meeting.
Sounding happy, the VC, GBPUAT called upon the representatives from Russia and Ireland to thoroughly go through the research and teaching capacity of his university so as to enable the students and scientists of the universities of both the countries to get a good opportunity for research and academics. He further said that GBUAT happened to be the first agricultural university of the country to receive QS World Ranking.
The director of International Affairs of GBUAT H J Shiv Prasad appraised the international delegation about the teaching system of the university and the facilities/infrastructure available for research and teaching present in the campus.
