U’khand poised to become export-friendly: KGCCI

A number of entrepreneurs from Uttarakhand spoke of the advantages and disadvantages they face in the domain of export while attending the ‘Export Conclave 2025’ hosted by the Federation of Indian Export Organisation held here on Thursday.   In his welcome address, the president of Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry  (KGCCI) Ashok Kumar Bansal threw light on the role of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) vis-à-vis the increasing opportunities of exports.  While affirming that the Garhwal and Kumaon regions, of Uttarakhand, in particular, are emerging fast as new, thriving centres of exports, he urged the industrialists based in the State to make full use of the new export policies being dished out by the Centre and the State government to make the State an export friendly one. 

The conclave ended with a question-answer session involving the entrepreneurs and industry specialists.
