The medal winners of the 44th National Masters Athletic Championship-2025 held in Alwar (Rajasthan) met the vice- chancellor of the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) Manmohan Singh Chauhan on Saturday. About 1500 players from 22 States participated in the competition. Addressing the players,
Chauhan said that the staffers had brought laurels to the university by winning as many as nine medals. “Every staff member of the university should participate in sports,” adding that the track in the university’s stadium was being enhanced and a swimming pool would be constructed soon.
On this occasion, participants shared their experiences of the events. One of them suggested the university’s participation in the upcoming international competition in Indonesia. The VC said he would consider.
