IPS Kewal Khurana passes away at the age of 47

Kewal Khurana, a senior IPS officer of the 2005 batch of Uttarakhand cadre, passed away on Sunday late night. He was unwell for a long time and breathed his last at Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi. He was born on April 14, 1978 in Uttar Pradesh.
Khurana was considered a capable and promising police officer of Uttarakhand. While holding important posts like SSP of Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun and Director of Traffic and most recently as inspector general, Home Guard, he took many good decisions and did important work in public interest.
His efforts are still appreciated among the general public. His death has caused a wave of mourning in the Uttarakhand Police Department and his loved ones.
