In latest news from Uttarakhand, the State level team of Kayakalp Mission led by Dr Vikram Singh from Dehradun conducted the final round of inspection of the B D Pandey Government Hospital. The team members are learnt to have found cleanliness better than before with the Operation Theatre found garbage free as per the departmental guidelines. However, the team sounded displeased with the instructions written on the walls of the women’s hospital being erased. Afterwards, the wards were inspected and the arrangements were reviewed.
Dr Singh said that under Kayakalp Mission, hospitals are given incentives for better performance on the set standards. “The management has been asked to put the right garbage in the right coloured dustbin and get the necessary instructions pasted at important places inside the facility’s premise. The ranking will be decided only after the inspection report is filed,” he said.
