In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Uttarkashi visit to boost the ongoing winter tourism slated on February 27 has been postponed due to the rain/snowfall-related yellow alert issued by the Met department. He was scheduled to visit Mukhba shrine which hosts the idol of Goddess Ganga during the winter months and the picturesque Harsil. It is learnt that the PM might make the trip sometime in March.
