Animal health camp organised in village Khuriyakhatta

Animal health camp and farmer training programme was organised in village Khuriyakhatta in Pantnagar under All India Coordinated Research Project funded by the Central Institute for Research on Cattle and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The head of the department of Animal Genetics and Breeding, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, D Kumar inaugurated the programme and highlighted the main points of animal management.

In the camp, health inspection of a total of 15 cows was done and treatment was provided by the renowned animal specialist Sanjay Chaudhary who is also the co-project officer. He also gave information on how to save animals from parasite attacks and other infections.    

The project officer Chandra Bhan Singh also highlighted the objectives of the project and the benefits that the animal breeders would get from it.
